Highland Bakery – Atlanta, GA

Highland Bakery has three locations but the one in this review is located in Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Finding a parking spot could be somewhat difficult so expect to do some light walking and well verse in parallel parking. Owner of Highland Bakery, Stacey Eames, started her career in selling coffee around Atlanta to having the place to visit for breakfast and baked goods.

Antico Pizza Napoletana – Atlanta, GA

Antico Pizza Napoletana offers true authentic Italian pizza without the extra cost of flying out to Italy to get one. It sits cozily at corner of Hemphill Avenue and Ethel Street close to Georgia Tech where finding a parking spot can become quite difficult around this area. What makes Antico Pizza different from the other pizzeria is that all of their ingredients come from Italy itself. Another added bonus about this place is that you can bring your own alcohol. This is a big plus for my fellow alcoholics.

Fontaine’s Oyster House – Atlanta, GA

My friends and I have visited Fontaine’s Oyster House in the past multiple times for our drinking spree down at Virginia Highland. Just for you guys that don’t know about Virginia Highland, it was rated best overall neighborhood in Atlanta by Atlanta Magazine. Rosa’s Pizza – Atlanta, GA

Ever since I started going to Georgia State University, I’ve been going to Rosa’s Pizza to get my fixing on their New York style pizzas. Since it’s located at the heart of campus, Rosa’s Pizza has been the ideal spot for many students and white collar corporate guys. It becomes rather difficult to grab food quickly especially around rush hour when the lines wraps around the walls. In order to cope with the daily surge of patrons, the pies are pre-made in order to get people in and out quickly. The ordering process goes by fast so you better know what you want when it comes to you.

Taqueria Del Sol – Atlanta, GA

Taqueria Del Sol is located in the nicer area of Atlanta with Yeah! Burger within proximity. If you’re patient unlike someone like me, you’ll do fine waiting in a long line that reaches far beyond the entrance door. Taqueria Del Sol is known for their tacos but they separate themselves from the others by adding a southern flair that changes the dynamics of how you ever thought tacos should be. They keep a very small selection of food available on the menu with stuff their good at and to ensure maximum quality control across the board. Depending on the week, they usually add new items on the menu for a short while.
