After a failed attempt of going to Twin Peaks on Piedmont Road to watch football, we decided to go next door to Farm Burger where the wait isn’t 2 hours long. What Farm Burger special is that they actually raised their own cows that are 100% grass fed and is also antibiotic free. They also stepped up a notched and get all their seasonal ingredients from local farmers which mean you’re going to get some wild topping choices to add to your burger.
With so many toppings to choose from to build your own burger, it was a bit overwhelming so I decided to go with the No. 6 and regular fries. Nothing could make a burger any better other than a runny egg that drenches the meat and buns which makes it creamy and rich thus enhancing the overall burger experience. Unlike any bacon that you get from other places, the bacon here is thick cut and that isn’t loaded with salt giving you the opportunity to enjoy each special ingredient without it being washed away by sodium overload. You can also taste the quality with the grass fed beef patty. It was juicy and flavorful with a clean taste that makes you beg for more when you’re done. The only thing that I didn’t like here at Farm Burgers was the fries. It didn’t stand out and tasted like every other places.
